San Diego · Est. 2004
A friendly, competitive home-game league running across San Diego since 2004. Every dollar goes back to the players — no rake, no fees.
The San Diego Poker Tour — formerly the Poway Poker Tour — was organized in 2004 to provide a friendly place where people could go to play poker in a social atmosphere. Originally, most of the players were from Poway, hence the name. However, the league has grown to include players from all over San Diego.
It is important to note that no one makes money, other than as a mere player, at any of our events. No rakes and no fees of any kind are collected. Every dollar of entry fee is paid back to players based on their finishing position.

We meet on a regular schedule, approximately every two weeks at one of our players' homes, alternating between Fridays and Saturdays. Starting time is 7:00pm on Saturdays and 7:30pm on Fridays. We ask that players show up at least 10 minutes in advance so play can start on time.
Everyone supplies their own snacks and drinks — however, due to the friendly nature of the SDPT, everyone normally shares.
